Detailed Eligibility – TIFR Careers:
Educational Qualifications:
Trade Apprentices (Machinist/Electrical):
- ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) (aggregate of 60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the trade of Machinist/Electrical.
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2025): Age below 28 years.
Stipend: Rs. 18,500/-
TIFR Vacancy Details: 05 Posts
- Machinist: 01 Post
- Electrician: 04 Posts
Selection Process of TIFR Jobs:
- The selection will be on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the written test and aggregate ITI marks obtained in all semesters.
- Final merit will be based on 60% of aggregate ITI marks obtained in all semesters and 40% written test score.
- The candidates will be assessed on parameters/sections as below:
- Technical Acumen in relevant discipline.
- Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude.
- Reasoning Abilities.
- ITI syllabus.
- Mathematical syllabus.
