Veterinarian: Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. &AH.) from a recognized University.
Duration: The post is purely temporary for about 5 years and co-terminus with the project.

Project: Self-Financing Scheme on “Feed and Fodder Technology”
Project Associate- I:
Essential:
- Master’s degree in Veterinary/Animal Science/Fisheries in any subject or Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences with PG Diploma in Feed Manufacturing Technology OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (B.Tech) in Poultry Production Technology/Food Processing/Agricultural Engineering/Fisheries Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable:
- M.V.Sc. in Animal Nutrition/Livestock Products Technology or M.F.Sc, in Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology OR
- Master’s Degree in Technology (M.Tech) – Poultry Production Technology/Food Technology/Fish Process Engineering / Agricultural Engineering/Farm Machinery/Processing and Food Engineering
- Operation of computers and accounting software & typing
- Work experience in Feed mills / Food processing units
- Research experience in Feed Technology
- Passing of NET / GATE / Any other approved eligibility tests.
- Should know Tamil to read, write and speak.
Duration: Initially for three years. Further continuance will be based on performance assessment and functional needs of the project.
Age Limit (As on 22 November 2024): 35 Years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is allowed up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/ WOMEN candidates as per the rules in force.
Salary Details:
- Rs. 31,000/- +HRA to Scholars who are selected who passed (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or AICTE / ICAR NET /Any other National / State level tests approved

Selection Process TNAUVAS Careers:
- The selection will be based on marks scored in the written test, education qualifications, experience and performance in the interview.
- Original Certificates are to be produced at the time of the interview
- A written test in English will be conducted to shortlist the candidates
- A minimum mark to be secured in the written test for attending the interview is 50 %.
- The pattern will be multiple-choice questions for a duration of 45 minutes with a maximum of 30 marks.
