ECIL Jobs – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C) – Front End Developer/Backend Developer/Mobile App Developer/DevOps/Full Stack Developer/Database:
- B.E/B.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE/EEE with min. 60% in aggregate
- Qualifying marks: At least 60% (aggregate)
- Experience: 3 Years
Duration: One year (extendable up to 4 years including initial term, depending on project requirements & satisfactory performance of the candidate)
Upper Age Limit (As on 31 December 2025): 33 years
Age Relaxation:
- 3 years for OBC
- 5 years for SC/ST; Candidates belonging to PwBD category, having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 more years relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.
- Further, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.
Salary Details:
- Rs. 40,000/month for 1st year
- Rs. 45,000/month for 2nd year
- Rs. 50,000/month for 3rd year
- Rs. 55,000/month for 4th year
- A lump sum & one time amount of Rs. 8,400 towards attire allowances after completion of at least 6 months tenure

Selection Process of ECIL Careers:
- Based on data provided in On-line application, Candidates shall be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:4 in order of merit based on aggregate percentage obtained in Engineering, category wise (UR/EWS/OBC/SC/ST)
- Upon short listing, candidates will be called for Document verification followed by Personal Interview to be held at Hyderabad.
- Subsequently, shortlisted candidates will be evaluated based on Personal Interview and final recommendations shall be made as per the merit (A+B+C) through following criteria:
