Educational Qualification:

Project Engineer on Contract (PE‑C): B.E./B.Tech with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST where reserved) in relevant disciplines such as Electronics, ECE, ETC, EEE, E&I, CSE, IT, CS/IT, Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation with NDT Level‑II (for Kudankulam) along with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience

Technical Officer on Contract (TO‑C): B.E./B.Tech with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST where reserved) in Electronics/Electrical/ECE/ETC/EEE/E&I/CSE/IT/Instrumentation and minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience

Assistant Project Engineer on Contract (APE‑C): Diploma with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST where reserved) in ECE/ETC/Electronics/E&I/EEE/Instrumentation and minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience

Senior Artisan on Contract (SA‑C): ITI passed in Electronics, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Instrumentation or Radio & TV trades with minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience

Note: Apprenticeship in the relevant field (maximum of one year) is also considered as experience.

Duration: One year (extendable up to 4 years including initial term, depending on project requirements & satisfactory performance of the candidate)

Upper Age Limit (As on 18 June 2026):

Project Engineer on Contract (PE‑C): 33 Years
Technical Officer on Contract (TO‑C): 30 Years
Assistant Project Engineer on Contract (APE‑C): 30 Years
Senior Artisan on Contract (SA-C): 30 Years

Age Relaxation:

3 years for OBC
Candidates belonging to PwBD category, having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 more years relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above
Further, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.

Salary Details:

Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C):
- Rs. 40,000/month for 1st year
- Rs. 45,000/month for 2nd year
- Rs. 50,000/month for 3rd year
- Rs. 55,000/month for 4th year

- Rs. 25,000/- month for 1st year
- Rs. 28,000/- month for 2nd year
- Rs. 31,000/- month for 3rd & 4th years
