Graduate Engineer Trainee: First Class Engineering Graduate OR Engineering Post Graduate in ECE/EEE/Mechanical/CSE  branch/ Discipline from an institute or University Recognized by AICTE or the Govt. of India

Trainee Officer (Finance): Qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant

Deputy Manager (Technical): 



  • Embedded Systems-Hardware: First Class Engineering Graduate OR Engineering Post Graduate in ECE/EEE. Applicants holding M.E/M. Tech (Embedded Systems or Digital Signal Processing) will have added advantage.
  • Embedded Systems-Software: First Class Engineering Graduate OR Engineering Post Graduate in ECE/CSE. Certification in Embedded system software will have added advantage.
  • Power Electronics: First Class Engineering Graduate OR Engineering Post Graduate in ECE/EEE/Electronics/Electrical Engineering. Applicants holding post-graduate degree in M.E/M.Tech(Power Electronics) will have added advantage.

Technician Gr-II: 

  • The applicant should have a Matriculation / SSC or its equivalent plus ITI certificate (National Trade Certificate (NTC)) with National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) OR Matriculation/SSC or its equivalent plus ITI certificate (NTC) with one year relevant experience in manufacturing processes as on last date of submission of online application.
  • The ITI Certificate (NTC) should be in the Electronics Mechanic/Electrician/Machinist/Fitter. This includes Based Basic Training as well as advanced modules under the skilled training pattern of the Directorate General of Labour & Employment being implemented through ITI upgraded as Centre of Excellence in Required Trades.

Age Relaxation of ECIL Hyderabad Recruitment:

  • The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
  • The upper age limit is further relaxable by 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (degree of disability 40% or above) and 5 years for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.
  • Ex-servicemen are eligible for age relaxation for the service rendered in Defence plus three years.

Selection Process for ECIL Careers:

Graduate Engineer Trainee/Trainee Officer(Finance)/Technician Gr-II: 

  • The selection methodology will comprise two stage selection process i.e Written test and personal interview.
  • The weightage for Written Test & Personal interview is 85:15, respectively and 60% in overall for selection of candidates.
  • All eligible candidates shall be called for a written test however, for Personal interview the candidates shall be called in the ratio of 1:4 based on the performance in written test.
  • In case of more than one candidate secured equal Marks in Written test, then the candidate who has scored higher marks in the Eligible Qualification will be called for Interview

Written Test:

  • The Question Paper will be in English & Hindi only. The Written Test shall be of
    Objective. Multiple Choice Type. Every wrong question will attract 0.25 negative marks.
  • The Answer Sheet will be OMR sheet.

Personal Interview:

  • Only the Short Listed candidates will be called for Personal Interview at Hyderabad.
  • The candidates will be allowed to take part in the Personal Interview process only after successful completion of the Document Verification process. The date, time and venue of interview will be intimated by registered E-mail mentioned in online application form.
  • The intimation regarding the availability of Hall ticket for written test for downloading will be hosted in official website.

Document Verification Process:

  • The date, time and venue of personal interview will be intimated in due course of time after shortlisting.
  • The Document Verification will be conducted before the Personal Interview on the same day. Candidates should bring their Hall Ticket along with ID Proof viz

Deputy Manager (Technical):

  • The eligible candidates shall be invited for a Personal Interview.
  • The date, time and venue of Personal interview will be intimated through e-mail registered as per on-line application.
  • The candidates called for an interview shall mandatorily submit all the relevant documents for verification at the time of interview or their candidature will be rejected.

  • For Technician Posts: Candidates belonging to the General/OBC category (including non-creamy layer)/EWS have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred & Fifty only)
  • Applicable Bank charges/Taxes, if any, must be borne by the candidates.
  • SC, ST, PWD, and regular ECIL employees, including Fixed Term Contract (currently engaged with ECIL) within the stipulated age limit, are exempted from payment of the Application fee.

  • Proven experience as executive secretary or similar administrative role in Govt./PSU/Private Organization.

Duration: One Year (extendable up to five years including the initial term, depending on project requirements & satisfactory performance of the candidate) to work for various Business Verticals across the country.
