Technical Assistant – Electrical:
- First Class or equivalent Grade in B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. Or
- First Class Diploma in Electrical Engineering with excellent academic record.
Technician:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering:
- Senior secondary (10+2) with Science from a Government recognized board with at least 60% marks Or
- Senior secondary (10+2) from a government-recognised board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Or
- Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Or
- Diploma in Engineering of three year’s duration in Electronics & Communication Engineering or relevant field from a Govt
- Computer Science Engineering:
- Senior secondary (10+2) with Science from a Government recognized board with at least 60% marks Or

Selection Process for NIT Meghalaya Jobs 2024
- The selection process for the new faculty positions shall be conducted in two stages:
- Stage I- Candidates shortlisted after the scrutiny of applications shall be asked to make an Academic/Research presentation before an expert committee.
- Stage II- The candidates shortlisted from Stage I shall be called for a personal interview. However, eligible serving candidates of NIT Meghalaya shall only have to attend Stage II of the selection process.
