Senior Assistant:

Official Language:ย 

  • Masterโ€™s in Hindi with English as a subject at the Graduation levelย ORย Masterโ€™sย in English with Hindi as a subject at the Graduation level.ย  ย OR
  • Masters in any subject apart from Hindi/English from a recognized University along with Hindi and English as compulsory/optional subjects at graduation levelย ย OR
  • Masters in any subject apart from Hindi/English from a recognized University along with Hindi and English as medium and compulsory/optional subjects or medium of examination at graduation level.
  • This means if Hindi is medium at the Graduation level, then English should be a compulsory/optional subject, or if English is medium, then Hindi should be a compulsory/optional subject.ย  OR
  • Graduation degree from a recognized University along with Hindi and English as compulsory/optional subjects or any one out of both as medium of examination and other as a compulsory/optional subject along with a recognized Diploma/Certificate course of Hindi to English and English to Hindi Translation or two yearsโ€™ experience of Hindi to English and English to Hindi Translation at Central/State Government offices including Government of India Undertakings or reputed organizations
  • In addition to qualification criteria, Computer literacy test in MS Office (Hindi)

Operations:

  • Graduate with LMV license. Dip. in Management will be preferred.
  • 2 years relevant experience in the concerned discipline

Electronics:

  • Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering.
  • Experience: Two years (2) relevant experience in the concerned discipline.

Accounts:ย 

  • Graduate preferably B.Com with Computer literacy test in MS Office.
  • Experience: Two years (2) relevant experience in the concerned discipline.

Junior Assistant (Fire Service):ย 

  • 10+3 yearsโ€™ approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire with โ€œPASSโ€ marks;ย OR
  • 12th Pass (Regular Study) with โ€œPASSโ€ marks Driving License:
  • Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence as of the date of advertisement. OR
  • Valid Medium Vehicle Licence issued at least one year before the date of advertisement. OR
  • Valid Light Motor Vehicle Licence issued at least two years before the date of advertisement.
  • In case of b & c, the incumbents will be required to acquire Heavy Duty Driving License within one year of appointment before completion of their probation period. In case they fail to acquire/obtain the Heavy DUTY Driving License, their probation period will be extended for one more year in order to obtain Heavy Duty Driving License, till such time, they will not be confirmed and their increments will also be withheld.
    Moreover, no further extension will be granted beyond two years and their services will stand terminated.
  • Driving Test: The driving test will be conducted on Light Motor Vehicle.

Age Limit (As on 24 March 2025): Maximum age 30 years

Age Relaxation:

  • Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
  • 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates.
  • 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date for Ex-Servicemen (ESM). ESM age relaxation is applicable as prescribed by Govt. of India order issued from time to time
  • Upper age limits are relaxable by 10 years for candidates who are in regular service of AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA.
  • Differently Abled candidates โ€“ 10 years relaxation for UR, 13 years for OBC(NCL), 15 years for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process of AAI Careers:

For Senior Assistant (Official Language):

  • Stage 1:
    • Written Exam (Computer Based Test)- Duration: 2 (Two) hours
    • Medium of Instruction: Hindi
    • No negative marking for wrong answer attempted by the candidate.
    • Minimum pass marks will be 50% for UR/OBC(NCL).
  • Stage 2 :
    • After qualifying the Computer Based (Online) Test, the shortlisted candidates shall undergo the following Selection Process:
    • Bio-metric attendance.
    • Documents Verification and
    • Computer Literacy Test in MS-Office (Hindi)

For Senior Assistant (Operation):

  • Stage 1:
    • Written Exam (Computer Based Test)- Duration: 2 (Two) hours
    • Medium of Instruction : Hindi & English
    • No negative marking for wrong answer attempted by the candidate.
    • Minimum pass marks will be 50% for UR candidates and 40% for ST.
  • Stage 2:
    • After qualifying the Computer Based (Online) Test, the shortlisted candidates shall undergo the following Selection Process:
    • Bio-metric attendance.
    • Documents Verification

For Senior Assistant (Electronics):

  • Stage 1:
    • Written Exam (Computer Based Test)- Duration: 2 (Two) hours
    • Medium of Instruction: Hindi & English

    • Minimum pass marks will be 50% for UR/EWS/OBC (NCL)/ESM and 40% for SC/ST.
  • Stage 2:

  • Stage 3:
    • On passing the written exam for Senior Assistant (Electronics), shortlisted and provisionally selected candidates shall undergo Ab-initio Training for an applicable prescribed period subject to certificates/ document verification only.
    • Subject to performance of the candidate in the training, the training can be discontinued and liable for termination of the candidature as a result of nonsuitability and poor performance

For Senior Assistant (Accounts):

  • Stage 1:
    • Written Exam (Computer Based Test)- Duration: 2 (Two) hours
    • Medium of Instruction: Hindi & English
    • No negative marking for wrong answer attempted by the candidate.

Age Relaxation:

Selection Process of AAI Careers:

  • On the basis of the details furnished in application form, provisionally eligible candidates shall be called for Computer Based Test and admit cards shall be issued to them accordingly.
  • There will not be any negative marking for wrong answer attempted by the candidates in Computer Based Test.
  • Computer Based Test will be followed by Application Verification/ Subsequent Tests, as applicable for the posts
  • For the post Junior Executive (Fire Services), Application Verification will be followed by Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test and Physical Endurance Test which includes Running, Casualty Carrying (Lifting & carrying sandbag), Pole Climbing, Rope Climbing and Full Ladder Climbing & Descending.
  • Only those candidates who qualify for the aforesaid tests will be considered eligible for the selection process.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Application verification / Physical Measurement Test/ Driving Test/ Physical Endurance Test, as applicable for the post.
  • Computer Based Test will be bilingual i.e. Hindi and English, except test of language.
