NBPGR Careers – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualifications:
Project Title: Establishment and Management of the Field Gene Bank (FGB) for maintenance of registered plant varieties.
Young Professional-I:
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and allied Sciences/Horticulture/Forestry/Agroforestry
- Desirable: Experience in characterisation and field evaluation of tree germplasm.
Field Assistant:
- Graduate in any discipline with at least 1 year experience in handling field experiments in agricultural sciences or field evaluation of germplasm.
Upper Age limit:
- Young Professional-I: 21 – 45 Years
- Field Assistant: 21 – 45 Years
Age Relaxation: Relaxation as per the GoI rules
Salary Details:
- Young Professional-I: Rs. 30,000/-
- Field Assistant: Rs. 25,000/-
