Project period: March 2024 – Jan 2026
Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
- Post Graduate Degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Basic Science or Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars selected through the National Eligibility TestCSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
- Experience: 2 years of Research experience in the relevant field
- Duration: The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Upper Age limit(As on 18 April 2024): 35 years
Age Relaxation: Age limits are relaxable for 3 years for SC/ ST/OBC/ Physically Challenged/ female candidates as per Govt. of India norms.

- Post Graduate Degree in Basic/Allied Sciences (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Material Science/ Environment Science/ Any discipline of Life Sciences) OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology/ Material Sciences, etc.)
- Scholars selected through the National Eligibility TestCSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
