Educational Qualification:
Senior Analyst:
- A Degree in Science with Chemistry or Biochemistry or Food Technology or Food and Drugs with experience for a period of not less than four years in the analysis of food. (OR)
- A Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Food Technology or Microbiology or Food and Drugs with experience for a period of not less than two years in the analysis of food.
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2025):
- SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC & DCs, BCs, BCMs (including Ex-Servicemen belonging to these communities): No Maximum Age Limit
- Others: 32 years
- Differently Abled Candidates (Others Category): 42 years

Selection Process of TN MRB Recruitment 2025:
- Candidates should undergo the Tamil Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard) in any of the sessions decided by the Board on the day of the competitive examination for the post of Senior Analyst.
- Selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Test and duly following the rules of reservation and communal rotation of Government of Tamil Nadu and other conditions stipulated in this notification
- Short-listed candidates will be called for verification of the original certificates as claimed in their on-line application form
- There will be No Oral Test for the post

- The duration for the Tamil Language Eligibility Test is 1 hour
- The duration for the Computer Based Test (CBT) is 2 hours
- The question paper in the subject will be set in English only and will contain 100 objective type questions
- The Questions will be in the Standard of Under Graduate Level
- There will be no negative mark for the wrong answer and no oral Test (Interview) for the post.
Centre for Examination: Examination will be conducted in one or more of the centres in all the districts.
