Educational Qualifications:
Junior Research Fellow:
- Essential: Post Graduate degree in Environmental Sciences/ Natural Science/Marine Sciences and related disciplines with net qualification or any other National level examinations conducted by central government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DCS, DRDO, NHRD, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc., [or]
- Graduate degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course [or]
- Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Sciences/Marine Sciences and related disciplines.
Nature of work:
- Carrying out extensive field sampling in high-altitude wetlands
- Carrying out water and sediment quality analysis
Age Limit (As on 16 July 2024): 28 years
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC against the posts reserved for them.
Salary Details: Rs. 24,000/- to 37,000/- + HRA

Selection Process for NCSCM Careers:
- The selection process will be based on a test/interview.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for a written or direct Interview test followed by an interview as the NCSCM decides.
