Hazard Analyst:
Oceanography:
- M.Sc. Oceanography/Ocean Science with 70% aggregate score in qualifying exams
- At least 1 year of experience in research/academic/ extension/ professional work
Information and Technology:
- B.Tech. Information Technology or M.Sc. Computer Science with at least 70% overall
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
Forestry:
- M.Sc. Forestry with a minimum of 60%
GIS Specialist:
- Post-graduation in Earth Sciences/Environmental Science/Disaster Management passed with 60%aggregate score
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
Safety Engineer:
- B.Tech. in Safety and Fire/Industrial/Chemical and Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% in qualifying exam
- At least 2 year of relevant experience
Field Assistant:
- SSLC or Equivalent Exam Pass + Government of Kerala approved Diploma/Certificate from ITI/ITC Electronics or Computer Hardware & Network Maintenance + Valid two-wheeler license
Social Capacity Building Specialist:
- MSW with minimum 60% in qualifying exam
- At least 4 years relevant of experience

Selection Process of KSDMA Jobs:
- KSDMA reserves the right to shortlist only a limited number of candidates for written test/technical presentation/technical interview/final interview, as the case may be for the post, based on marks secured in their qualifying examination and/or years of relevant experience
- Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email/SMS regarding further procedures. Hence, candidates must ensure that a working email address and telephone/contact no. are being provided.
Note: 5% and 10% of mark relaxation will apply to the SC and ST categories, respectively. Eligibility for this relaxation should be proven by producing scanned copies of necessary certificates from the competent authority.
