NAM invites applications from eligible candidates for the Ayurveda Therapist/Lab Technician/Yoga Instructor posts. The age limit for these posts will be 40 to 50 years. NAM: The National AYUSH Mission is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme under the Ministry of AYUSH. The government of India launched the National AYUSH Mission (NAM) during the 12th plan in 2014. In Kerala, NAM started activities in 2015. NAM aims to mainstream AYUSH Systems into health care services, develop evidence-based AYUSH management protocol through scientific documentation, and ensure the accessibility of quality AYUSH services. Regarding the funding pattern, 60% of the share is provided by the central government and 40% by the state government. Through the State Medicinal Plant Board, NAM supports four line departments under the State’s AYUSH department, the AYUSH drug sector, and Medicinal plant cultivation. It runs various projects on health care in AYUSH streams and supports institutions under the AYUSH department by various means. For 2021-2022, the State Annual Action Plan (SAAP) has been proposed for Rs.35 Crores.

Educational Qualifications:
Ayurveda Therapist: Ayurveda Therapist Course conducted by Govt. of Kerala
Lab Technician: B.Sc MLT approved by a recognized University/DMLT approved by a recognized institution
Yoga Instructor:
- PG Diploma in Yoga – Minimum of 1-year duration from a recognized university/approved certificate course of one-year duration in yoga from a recognised University/Government department/Diploma in Yoga Teacher Training by State Resource Center.
- Further considerable qualifications are BNYS, BAMS, MSc Yoga, and M.Phil. Yoga from a recognised University
Age Limit (As on 15 July 2024):
- Ayurveda Therapist (Male & Female): 40 years
- Lab Technician: 40 years
- Yoga Instructor: 50 years
