IUAC Delhi Recruitment:
Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), an Autonomous Centre of University Grants Commission under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, invites applications from qualified Indian Nationals for the following positions Group A, B and C Posts on a Direct Recruitment basis. The age limit will be 26 – 30 years. The selected candidates should be paid a pay level of 4 – 10 (Rs.25,500 – 1,77,500/-). IUAC Careers – Detailed Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
Scientist-C:
- M.Sc. (Physics/Applied Physics) with consistently good academic records (Class-X onwards with at least 60%) from a recognized University/Institute.
- Candidates slated to complete their M.Sc. course in the academic year 2023-24 are also eligible to apply, provided the final degree is available at the interview.
- Desirable: Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer applications.
Engineer-C:
- B.Tech. (Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics & Instrumentation) degree and consistently good academic records (Class-X onwards with at least 60%) from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates who are slated to complete their B.Tech. course in the academic year 2023-24 are also eligible to apply, provided final degree is available at the time of the interview.
- Desirable: Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer applications
Junior Engineer-C:
- Diploma (Mechanical/Electronics) from a recognized university/institute with consistently good academic records (Class-X onwards with minimum 60% marks).
- Desirable: Three (03) years experience in a relevant field with R&D institution.
- The candidate should have cleared the diploma on or before 31 March 2024—proficiency in using various computer applications.
Technician-D:
- 10th with an ITI Diploma in Electrical from a recognized institute plus Three (03) years of experience.
- Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
Age Limit(As on 31 March 2024):
- Scientist-C: 26 Years
- Engineer-C: 26 Years
- Junior Engineer-C: 30 Years
- Technician-D: 28 Years
Age Relaxation:
- The upper age limit is relaxable up to 05 years for employees of Central & State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/ University/Research institutes who have completed three (03) years of regular service.
- No age relaxation is available to the persons working on Contract/Ad-hoc/Daily wage/Work Charged basis etc.
- Relaxation to reserved category and PWD. candidates as per Government of India rules: –
- SC/ST – 5 years against reserved posts only.
- OBC – 3 years against reserved posts only.
- PWD (with minimum 40% benchmark disability) – 10 years.
- Ex-servicemen – Length of Military Service plus three years.
- Age relaxation for IUAC employees is as per the DoPT rule i.e.
- 05 years of age relaxation for Group-A posts, and employees up to 40 years can apply for Group-B posts. (45 years for SC/ST candidates)

Selection Process of IUAC Jobs:
- The selection process includes a Written test and a skill/trade test.
- The online applications received in response to this advertisement shall be scrutinized by the shortlisting/screening committee constituted by the Competent Authority, and the Centre may restrict the number of applicants to be called for written test/interview/skill test on the recommendations of the committee.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process.
