Detailed Eligibility Criteria – Madras University Careers:
Educational Qualifications:
Project Title: “Purification and characterization of lectin from the larval serum of Zophobas morio and Oryetes rhinoceros for mitogenic. property against natural killer (NK) cells“
Research Associate:
- Doctorate (PhD) in Zoology or equivalent degree (OR) having 3 years of research, teaching, design and development experience after a suitable post-graduate degree.
- Experience in large-scale affinity purification of lectin from the insect system, and hands-on practice in animal cell culture techniques.
Tenure: 3 Years
Age Limit: 35 Years
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to the scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship:
- The consolidated emoluments will be under the following 3 slabs, depending on qualification and experience: a) Rs.58,000/ b) Rs.61,000/ c) Rs.67,000/-
