HPCL โ€“ Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited invited applications from various talented & motivated Engineers for various roles. The online portal for applying for the posts of engineering roles at HPCL was open till 15th April 2021. The computer-based exam for engineering roles is scheduled on 11th & 12th August 2021. The HPCL Admit Card for the above said exam is expected to be released in the first week of August.

HPCL Admit Card:

Admit card is mandatory for candidates to be allowed to appear for the exam. If a candidate fails to provide the admit card, their candidature will be cancelled and they will not be allowed to take up the exam even if they have applied and paid the fees. Follow the below steps to download your HPCL admit card.

Step 1: Visit the official website of HPCL โ€“ย https://jobs.hpcl.co.in/Recruit_New/

Step 2: Log in to your account using the credentials that you created at the time of applying.

Step 3: Once the admit card is released, it will be available there for you to download once you have logged in to your account.

Step 4: Download the admit card and take a printout of it for future use. A colour printout is prefered.

Step 5: Read the general instructions given in the admit card if any and carry the necessary documents along with the admit card as per the instructions given.

Step 6: The details regarding the examination venue, date, time, reporting time and all other exams related information will be available on your admit card. Read them properly and follow them strictly.

HPCL Engineers Selection Process:

  • The CBT consist of Two parts. The first part will be general Aptitude and the second part will be stream-specific according to the job role that you have applied for.
  • The CBT is an objective type exam each part consisting of questions for 85 marks. The total time allotted for CBT is 150 Minutes. Extra 20 minutes per hour for PwBD candidates.
  • There are NO NEGATIVE MARKINGS.
  • Kindly note that only those candidates who qualify for the CBT will be asked for DocumentUploading and Group Task. Only those who qualify the group task are eligible to attend the interview. And the same criteria continue for all stages of the selection.

HPCL Engineers Mark Weightage:

The weightage for various sections of the selection process is as follows:

  • COMPUTER BASED TEST โ€“ 85% weightage
  • GROUP TASK โ€“ 5% Weightage
  • PERSONAL INTERVIEW โ€“ 10% weightage

Pre-Employment Medical Exam:

In addition to the above-mentioned procedure, all the candidates who have successfully finished the Interview and are provided with an offer of appointment should prove that they are medically fit according to the criteria put forth by HPCL. Only the candidates who are medically fit will be appointed with positions as per their job role.

Will I get a separate admit card for group task and interview ?

Yes, Once you are selected for the next round you will be notified about that and a separate call letter will be provided.

Whom should I contact in case of any queries related to the exam ?

Queries can be emailed at careers@hpcl.in . Make sure to keep the subject of the mail in the format as 'Position Name โ€“ Application Number'. If you fail to do so, your query may go unnoticed.

When is the group task and interview scheduled ?

As of now, there is no information regarding the dates for group tasks and interviews. It will mostly be announced once the CBT is over. Check their website for any updates.
