Detailed Eligibility – BESCOM Recruitment 2023-24:
Educational Qualification:
Graduate Apprentices:
- Should possess/acquire BE/ B.Tech from a recognized University/ Institution (Recognized by AICTE or State Govt./Central Govt.) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering/Information Science and Engineering/Civil Engineering/Instrumentation Technology Engineering
Diploma Apprentices:
- Should Possess/acquire 3 year Diploma from a Polytechnic College/ Institution recognized by the State Govt./ Central Govt. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering
Eligibility:
- The candidate should have scored minimum passing marks and obtained a Degree/ Diploma in Engineering on or after February 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, upto Oct-2023
- The candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under Apprenticeship Act 1961, and/ or having one-year work experience are not eligible to apply
- The candidates should have knowledge of reading and writing in Kannada language
Duration of BESCOM Recruitment 2023-24: The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per Apprenticeship Act 1961
Age limit of BESCOM Jobs: Not be less than 18 years as per Apprenticeship Rule
Stipend for BESCOM Jobs:
- For Engineering Graduates: Rs.9,008/-Month
- For Diploma Graduates: Rs.8,000/Month

Selection Process of BESCOM Jobs:
- The selection process will be based on the Shortlisting criteria
- The board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region) is entrusted with the task of preparation of shortlisting the candidates from online application data.
- The shortlisting process will be done based on the marks secured in the Qualifying examinations only.
- Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through their registered Email ID.
- They will have to appear in person for verification of documents
