NHPC Recruitment 2021 – National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has announced an online job notification for recruitment to the post of Trade Apprentice. There are 50 vacancies are to be filled for these posts. The educational qualification of the candidates must be ITI from any recognized institution. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply for this post on or before 15 January 2021. The selection process will be based on the basis of performance during the personal interview. The detailed eligibility and selection process are given below in detail.

National Hydroelectric Power Corporation: NHPC Limited is an Indian Hydropower generation company that was incorporated in the year of 1975. It has an objective to plan, promote and organise an integrated and efficient development of hydroelectric power in all aspects. Educational Qualification:

For Trade Apprentice:

  • The applicant should have passed 10th + ITI/ 12th + ITI. The applicant should have passed ITI examination from the recognized institution in the respective trade.

Designated Trade:

  • Electrician
  • Fitter
  • Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)

Period of Apprenticeship: 12 Months

Age Limit :

  • For Trade Apprentice: minimum of 18 to 30 years

Upper age is relaxable by:

  • 05 years for SC/ST
  • 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)

Total Vacancies:

  • Electrician – 20 Posts
  • Fitter – 10 Posts
  • Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) – 20 Posts
NHPC Recruitment Selection Process :
  • The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks secured in ITI/ 10th class. The shortlisted candidates can be call for an interview if required and offered will be send through portal.
  • The selected candidates are required to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate as per rules of
    Apprentice Act.

  • Full time regular two years Masters in Social Work with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE. or
  • Full time regular two years Masters of HR and Organisational Developments (MHROD) from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE.
