NHPC Recruitment 2022 – The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation has announced the employment vacancies for the post of ITI Apprenticeship, Diploma Apprenticeship, Graduate Apprenticeship, Trainee Engineer and Trainee Officer. The Educational qualification should be B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc/ CA/ ICWA/ CMA/ ITI/ MBA/ Diploma/ Post Graduate. The details of Vacancy and Eligibility is given below.

Detailed Eligibility:

Educational qualification :

ITI Apprenticeship (Fitter, Electrician, Surveyor, Plumber, Carpenter, (Computer Operator and Programming Helper) COPA) :

  • The candidates must have Passed ITI in relevant discipline from any recognized Institute/ Board of Technical Education.

Diploma Apprenticeship (Civil, Electrical) :

  • The candidates must be belonging to an institute/university recognized by AICTE/ State Board of Technical Education Full time Diploma in relevant Engineering/ Technical Education.

Graduate Apprenticeship (Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, CSR) :

  • The candidates must have completed two years full time MBA/ Post Graduate Degree in relevant subject from recognized Institute/
    University.

Age Limit (as on 01.12.2021):

  • The age limit for the above mentioned posts should be Minimum of 18 Years and Maximum of 30 Years.
  • The relaxation in maximum age limit is 05 years for SC/ST; 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).

  • The candidates must have completed Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Civil Discipline from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment upto 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Trainee Engineer (Mechanical):

  • The candidates must have completed Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology / B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Mechanical Discipline from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment upto 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
  • Mechanical Discipline includes Mechanical / Production / Thermal / Mechanical & Automation Engineering.

Trainee Engineer (Electrical):

  • The candidates must have completed Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology / B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Discipline from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE (enrollment upto 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
  • Electrical Discipline includes Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics /Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Engineering.

Trainee Officer (Finance):

  • The candidates must have completed CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / ICWA or CMA from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (formerly known as Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India).
  • Passed Candidates are eligible to apply.

Trainee Officer (Company Secretary):

  • Candidates passed in Company Secretary qualification with Membership of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) are eligible to apply.

Selection Process for NHPC Recruitment 2022:

  • The selection for the above mentioned posts will be done based on Shortlisting the candidates as per merit based on the GATE – 2021 score, CA/CMA score and CS score for Trainee Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), Trainee Officer (Finance) and Trainee Officer (Company Secretary) respectively.
  • The shortlisted candidates will be called to Corporate Office, Faridabad for verification of their documents/ certificates
  • Candidates will be provisionally selected and extended offer of appointment only after verification of the documents/ certificates

The Application Fees for the above mentioned posts is

  • Rs. 295 for Candidates belonging to General, EWS & OBC (NCL) category
