RITES Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the posts of Engineering Professionals in the stream of Civil. There is a total of about 03 vacancies available for the above-mentioned posts. RITES was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in Gurgaon. It provides consultancy services for rail transport to India and abroad. RITES serves services in Railways, Highways, Equipment Export, Urban Transport, Airports, Ports & Waterways, Urban Planning, and Ropeways. RITES has Miniratna status and ISO 9001:2008 certificate. RITES provided consulting and planning to various countries.

Educational Qualification:

Engineering Professionals:

Civil ( Traffic & Transport):

• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Full-time B. Arch – Architecture (5 Years) / Full-time B Planning (4 Years)/Full-time BA/B.Sc. – Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent/synonymous/similar qualification. AND
• Master’s degree in Transport Engineering/ Transport Planning or equivalent/synonymous/similar qualification.
• Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience with the Understanding of various concepts and requirements of Comprehensive Mobility Plans, Mass Transit Studies, Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning, Transport Demand forecast, multi-modal integration, etc as per guidelines.
• Awareness of best practices in and around urban transport planning and design.
• Versed with suitable IT, GIS, database handling, and analytical skills using computer software.

Civil (Economics & Statics):

• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/ Business Economics/ Statistics/ Operational Research/Transport Planning or equivalent/synonymous/similar qualification. AND
• MBA with specialization in Finance or equivalent/synonymous/similar qualification.
• Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience with an understanding of different concepts of economics with respect to transport systems, requirements of Mass/ Rail Transit Studies, Transport Planning, Economic evaluation, and financial structuring of mass transport projects Awareness of best practices in and around about urban & regional transport planning.
• Versed with suitable IT, GIS, database handling, and analytical skills using computer software.

Age Limit ( As on 01 April 2023): 32 years

Age Relaxation:

• Relaxation in the upper age limit to OBC (NCL)/ SC/ ST candidates shall be provided against reserved posts as per extant Govt. orders.
• PWD candidates suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability shall only be eligible for the benefit of PWD.
• Such PWD candidates shall be eligible for a relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit.
• RITES regular/contract employees fulfilling the educational qualification and experience criteria shall be given an age relaxation of 5 years, over and above the upper age limit indicated above.

Selection Process:

• The selection process includes a Written Test/Interview.
• On the basis of applications received, eligible candidates will be required to appear in the written test (OffLine/On-Line).
• The candidates may be shortlisted for selection on the basis of performance in the written test.
• The company reserves the right to shortlist the number of candidates for selection out of eligible candidates.
• Due to the prevalent pandemic situation, based on the requirement and discretion of RITES, the selection process may be conducted online.
• Based upon the performance in the Written Test and fulfilling the conditions of eligibility; candidates shall be shortlisted for an Interview.
• There will be 125 objective-type questions carrying one mark each for a duration of 2.5 Hours.
• There will be no negative marking system applicable and therefore, no marks will be deducted in case of an incorrect answer.
• Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the Medical Examination to be conducted as per RITES Rules and Standards of Medical Fitness for the relevant post.
• Candidates have the option to appear for an interview either in Hindi or English.
• The exact Date, time, and details of the venue of the selection shall be communicated to shortlisted candidates.

Weightage of Marks:

• Experience – 5% 
• Written Test – 60%
• Interview – 35% ( Technical & Professional proficiency – 25 % & Personality Communication & Competency – 10%).
• Total – 100%
