Educational Qualification:
Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Hindi:
- Graduation degree with Hindi as a subject from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India and an Intermediate with Sanskrit as a subject. OR Pass in Uttar Madhyama Pariksha from U.P. Sanskrit Shiksha Parishad.
- Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognised by NCTE in India.
Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) English:
- Graduation degree with English Literature from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India.
- Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognised by NCTE in India.
Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Maths:
- Graduation degree with Maths as one subject from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India
- Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India.
Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Science:
- Graduation degree with Physics and Chemistry as subject from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India
- Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India.
Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Social Science:
- Graduation degree in at least two subjects from the subjects History, Geography, Political Science and Economics from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law

Note – No quality points shall be provided for Sangeet Visharad or Sangeet Prabhakar.
Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Commerce:
- Graduation degree in Commerce from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India.
- Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India.
Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Physical Education:
- Graduation degree from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India.
- B.P. Ed. or B.P.E. in a course recognized by NCTE in India
Assistant Teacher (Male-Female) Home Science:
- Graduation degree with Home Science as a subject from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India.
- Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India.
Assistant Teacher (Male) Agriculture / Horticulture:
- Graduation degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from a University/Deemed University/Institution established by law in India.
- Degree of Graduation in Education (B.Ed.) in a course recognized by NCTE in India.
Note: For the post of Assistant Teacher (Agriculture) the vacancy is only for Male Branch therefore only Male Candidates are eligible
Preferential Qualifications:
- A candidate who has: (i) Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years; or
- (ii) Obtained a “B” certificate of National Cadet Corps; shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2025): Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1985 and not later than July 1, 2004. For PH candidates, the maximum age limit is 55 years i.e. they must have not been born before 02 July, 1970.
Age Relaxation:
- Upper age limit shall be greater by five years for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes of U.P., Scheduled Tribes of U.P., Other Backward Classes of U.P., Skilled players of U.P. of Classified Games, State Govt. Employees of U.P., including Teachers/Staff of the Basic Shiksha Parishad of U.P. and Teachers/Staff of the Government Aided Madhyamik Vidyalayas of U.P. i.e. they must have not been born before 2nd July, 1980.
- The upper age limit shall be greater by fifteen years for physically handicapped persons of U.P.
- Upper age limit shall also be greater by three years + period of service rendered in Army for the Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short service Commissioned Officers/Ex-Army Personnel of U.P

- The selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in main (written) examination.
