Detailed Eligibility for UCIL Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Graduate Operational Trainee (CR&D):
- B.Sc.(Chemistry) – 03 years course/B.Sc.(Chemistry-Hons.) with Physics and Maths as subsidiary subjects with a minimum of sixty per cent marks (aggregate) for UR/EWS candidates and fifty-five per cent marks (aggregate) for ST candidates.
Age Limit (As on 23 May 2026): 30 Years
Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Tribe: 05 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – UR/EWS: 10 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – ST: 10+5 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – OBC (NCL): 10+03 years
- Domicile of J&K during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989: UR/EWS – 5 years, OBC-NCL – (5+3) years, SC/ST – (5+5) years
Salary Details:
- Candidates joining as Graduate Operational Trainee (GOT) will undergo training for a period of 02 (Two) years.
- During the first year of training period they will be paid monthly stipend as mentioned herein above.
- The monthly stipend shall be revised to Rs. 30,890/- plus prevailing DA thereon during 2nd year of training.
- Upon successful completion of training i.e. subject to fulfilling the required performance related/other criterion of the Company in force & amended from time to time, they will be absorbed as ‘Scientific Assistant-A’ at ‘Tradesman-E’ grade in regular scale of pay of Rs. 29,990-3%-46,720/-

Selection Process for UCIL Careers:
- Depending on the response from the candidates to the advertisement they will be called for Written Test/Trade Test/Personal Interview, as applicable.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test/ Trade Test/ Personal Interview, as applicable.
- Verification of original certificates with regard to Age, Educational Qualifications, Category/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD status (as applicable) and other documents as asked for will be done only at the time of Written Test /Trade Test/ Personal Interview, as applicable.
