Detailed Eligibility – KIIT Careers:
Educational Qualification for KIIT Career:
Project Name: Elucidation of the mechanism of silica deposition in abaxial epidermal long cells in Sorghum bicolor lemma
Project Associate:
- M.Sc/M.Tech or equivalent examination in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Agriculture/Botony, etc.) or allied subjects with a minimum of 60% marks or (equivalent grade point).
- Experience: Candidates with experience working on plants/light microscopy/histology/laser scanning confocal microscopy/scanning electron microscopy, etc., would be preferred.
- Broad area of Research: Plant Science, Biomineralization.
- Duation: For one year
Age Limit (As on 14 May 2024): The applicant should be below 35 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be given to the eligible candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Salary for KIIT Career: Rs. 25,000/- per month
Selection Process for KIIT Job Vacancy:
- The selection process will be based on an interview
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview
- Virtual or Physical mode interviews will be conducted depending on students’ consent
- Original documents should be produced at the time of the interview.
Note: Candidates in the final semester of the qualifying examination are also eligible, provided they possess the qualifying degree or have appeared for the final semester examination at the time of interview.

Educational Qualification for KIIT Career:
Project Name: “An Integrated Assessment to improve the Efficacy of Gene Expression based PAMS0 Classifier with additional miRNA And Epigenetic Signature to improve Prognostication In Breast Cancer using PDX based Platform” sponsored by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India.
Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-Medical):
- Candidates should have Ph.D Degree in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Health Sciences/Medical Sciences/Pharmaceutical Sciences or any of the allied subjects from any recognized University
- Preferably with research experience in the area of Cancer Biology, Cancer Genomics, Cancer Immunology, Cancer Therapeutics with proven list of publications in this area.
Tenure: The duration of the Project is for 3 years. The fellowship will be for one year subject to the extension based on the satisfactory progress after review of the work done. The age limit and relaxation of age will be followed as per Govt. of India guidelines.
Salary for KIIT Career: Rs. 56,000 + Rs. 10,080 (18 % HRA) = Rs. 66, 080/- per month
Selection Process for KIIT Jobs:
- The selection process includes an Interview.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- Interview will be conducted through Hybrid mode (Physical or Virtual).
