Tamil Nadu Class 12th Exam Question pattern 2020:
- Each subject can have a total of 100 marks.
- While some subjects have a practical test for those subjects, theory exams are conducted for 70 marks and the remaining 30 marks for the practical test.
- There will be a collection of objective type, short answer, small answer, and essay type questions.
- Marks for each objective type answer is +1 marks, for short answer is +2 marks, for the small answer is +3 marks and for an essay is +5 marks.
- Tamil Nadu DGE will ask questions for ten marks in out of the book syllabus to test the candidate’s general knowledge.

Marking Scheme of TN Class 12th Examination 2020:
- According to the notification, the duration of the examination will be 3 hours
- Before the examination, candidates have to arrive half an hour before the examination hall.
- All examination will be conducted forenoon of the day (i.e.)10 AM to 12.30 PM
- Tamil Nadu Government will provide an extra 10 minutes to read the question papers.
- Each subject will carry 100 marks, and total marks will be 600 marks.
- The exams which have separate practical reviews will be conducted for 80 marks and remaining 20 marks for the practical test.
