Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Professor:
- Engineering/Technology: BE/B. Tech and ME/M. Tech/MS, or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent grade in a point wherever grading system is followed.
- Disciplines: Chemical/Chemistry/Civil/Computer Science/E&I/ Electronics/Food/Maths/Mechanical/Physics.
- Humanities & Sciences: Master’s Degree level and First Class at the Graduation Level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET, or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree.
Associate Professor:
- Engineering/Technology: BE/B Tech and ME/M Tech/Ph.D. degree in a relevant field/Post-Ph.D. publications and guiding/Ph.D. students are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 08 years of experience in teaching research/industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
- At least a total of 6 research publications in SCI/Scopus listed journals.
- Disciplines: Chemistry/Civil/CS/E&I/ECE/Maths/Mechanical/Physics.
- Humanities & Sciences: A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks and First Class at the Graduation Level or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
- Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned allied/ relevant discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of eight years of experience.
Professor:
- Engineering/Technology: BE/B Tech and ME/M Tech/Ph.D. degree in a relevant field/Post-Ph.D. publications and guiding/Ph.D. students are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching research/industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
- At least a total of 6 research publications in SCI/Scopus listed journals.

Selection Process:
The selection process is based on merit & it includes a Written Test/Interview.
Short Listing Criteria:
- The prescribed Essential Qualification/Experience indicated are the bare minimum and mere possession of same will not entitle the candidates to be called for a test/interview.
- However, the Institute may adopt any method for screening the candidates and mere eligibility will not entail any right for the candidates to be called for an interview.
- Institute is free to restrict/change the criteria to call the eligible candidates for written tests/interviews.
Written Test/ Interview:
- It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in person for a written test and/or Technical Presentation and interview.
- Facility of Technical Presentation and Interviews through video conferencing for candidates residing abroad may be made available at their own risk and Institute is not responsible for any technical issue related to internet connectivity resulting in failure to appear before the presentation/ selection committee.
- The schedule of the Written Test and/or Presentation/Interview will be uploaded on the Institute website in due course of time.
Application Fees:
- Candidates belonging to the GENERAL/OBC-NCL/EWS category have to pay the application fee of Rs.1200/- online.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWBD categories and women candidates are exempted from the application fee.
- However, they will have to pay a portal charge of Rs. 150/- to the service provider.
