Educational Qualification for Sports Quota Posts:
Group ‘C’ & erstwhile Group ‘D’ Posts:
Level – 1: 10th Pass from recognized Board OR ITI OR Equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
Level 3/2:
- Passed 12th (+2 stage) OR its Equivalent Examination from recognized Board. OR
- Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship. OR
- Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT
Level 5/4: Minimum Graduation in any faculty from a recognized University.
Notes:
- Persons if appointed to the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should acquire Typing proficiency Test of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of four years from the date of appointment and till such time their appointments to this category will be provisional.
- Candidates possessing higher qualification should produce graduation/postgraduation certificate at the time of DV & trial.

Selection Process of Central Railway Jobs:
- All eligible candidates will be called for DV & trial and after trial, only the FIT candidates (securing 25 or more, out of 40 marks for Game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observations during trial) shall be assessed for next stage of recruitment.
Distribution of marks shall be as under:

Application Fees:
- For candidates belonging to SC/ST/ExServicemen/Persons with Disability/Women/Minorities and Economic Backward Class: Rs. 250/- with a provision of refunding the same to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial.
- For Others: Rs. 500/- with a provision of refunding Rs 400/- to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial.
