Detailed Eligibility – Rail Wheel Factory Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
Sports Quota – Level-2 RS (RP):
Technician Gr.III:
- 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT in the relevant Mechanical/ Electrical/Civil Engg. Trades OR
- 10th Pass plus ITI in the relevant Mechanical/ Electrical/Civil Engg. Trades OR
- 10th Pass – The selected candidate has to undergo 02 years of training
Junior Clerk/ Accounts Clerk:
- 12th (+2 Stage) Pass or its equivalent.
Sports Norms to be fulfilled:
- Represented the Country in any of the Category-B Championships/ events. OR
- At least 3rd position in any of the Category – C Championships/events. OR
- At least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships. OR
- At least 3rd position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association. as OR
- At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. OR
- 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
Note:
- The selected candidate has to undergo 06 months of training
- Sports persons must be in possession of the minimum educational qualification as applicable to the post as on the date of Notification. Those who are appearing for final examination or awaiting results of final examination are not eligible to apply.

Selection Process of Rail Wheel Factory Jobs:
- All eligible candidates will be called for the document verification/trials.
- Trials of the candidates will be conducted to assess their sports performance and suitability.
- After the trials, only the FIT candidates will be considered for the next stage.
- Candidates declared “NOT FIT” in the trials will not be assessed by the Recruitment Committee.
- Eligible applicants will be issued with call letters by speed post to the address indicated by the candidates in the application, duly advising the details of trials.

Minimum qualifying marks:
- Level-2 (GP 1900): 65 Marks
Proficiency in Typing Skill: The sportspersons recruited as Junior Clerk/Accounts Clerk against sports quota, should pass the requisite type-writing test within a period of four years from the date of their appointment. If a sportsperson is unable to pass the type-writing test within the period of four years, the regular increments due on completion of four years and thereafter, will not be released.
Application Fees :
- The Examination Fee for all candidates: Rs.500/- (Five Hundred only) with a provision for refunding Rs.400/- to those who actually appear in the trials.
- For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes: Rs.250/- (Two Hundred and Fifty only) with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the trials.
Application Fees mode: The Examination Fee should be paid in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO)/ Demand Draft (DD) only, from any Post Office/Nationalised Banks drawn in the favour of Principal Financial Adviser (PFA), Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore-560 064, payable at Bangalore.
