Selection Process of Oil India Limited Recruitment:

  • The selection process will be based on two phases
    • Phase I: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
    • Phase-II:ย Personal Interview (PI)

  • The total duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 01 (One) hour and 30 (Thirty) minutes. Further, compensatory time in addition to the duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be allowed as per Govt. guidelines for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities on the matter.
  • Only those candidates who qualify in Phase-I, i.e., the Computer Based Test (CBT), shall be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process, Phase-II, i.e., the Personal Interview (PI).
  • Candidates who qualify in the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be called in a ratio of 1:5 for Personal Interview (PI) based on marks in the Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • The merit list of candidates shall be drawn based on combined weighted marks of Computer Based Test (CBT) and Personal Interview (PI) as per defined weightages.

Note: The Selection Process for the post of Senior Officer (Security) will comprise of Personal Interview (PI) only.

Selection Process of Oil India Limited Recruitment:

  • The selection process shall consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT) wherein the qualifying marks for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 50% for UR/ OBC(NCL)/ ST/EWS posts.
  • For the posts reserved for SC/ /PwBD the qualifying marks for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 40%
  • Candidates will be called for Computer Based Test (CBT) on the basis of their declaration in the online application form
  • The question paper for Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of 3 (three) sections as detailed hereunder viz.
    • English Language & General Knowledge/Awareness with some questions on Oil India Limited;
    • Reasoning, Arithmetic/Numerical & Mental Ability and
    • Relevant Technical Knowledge in the course curriculum depending on the trade/discipline.
  • The Computer Based Test (CBT) will comprise of questions in the multiple-choice questions (MCQ) format
  • There will be no negative marking in the Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be bilingual i.e. English & Hind
