Detailed Eligibility for NEEPCO Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Executive Trainee (Civil) (E-2 Grade):
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE/ BEngg. in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute or University with not less than 65% marks as per respective institute/University norms (55% marks for PwBD candidates).
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Civil, 2024.
Duration: Minimum period of 5 (five) years, including the period spent on training, if the appointment is regularized.
Upper Age Limit (As on 01 June 2024):
- UR/EWS: 30 years
- PwBD: 40 years
Age Relaxation:
- The upper age relaxation for ESM/ PwBDs will be allowed as per Govt. of India guidelines.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit for the candidates ordinarily domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 will also be allowed per Govt. of India guidelines.

Selection Process of NEEPCO Careers:
- The selection process shall consist of Scrutiny of the application and personal Interviews of shortlisted candidates as decided by the Management.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interviews in order of merit, and the number of candidates may be limited or extended.
- Shortlisting of candidates will be made based on the score secured in GATE (Civil)
- Final merit panel of the selected candidate will be prepared based on a weightage of 80% given to mark scored in GATE (Civil) and 20% given to personal interview to be conducted by a selection committee.
- The personal interview shall consist of general knowledge, aptitude for the job, extra-curricular activities, and professional-specific knowledge.

Detailed Eligibility for NEEPCO Career:
Educational Qualification:
Executive – Medical:
- Qualification: MBBS, preferably with a Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in one of the areas of Medical Science (+) Registered with the Indian Medical Council.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in a large industry/reputed Hospital after completing the internship.
- Duration: Initially, it will be for 3 (three) years and will be extendable by a further 2(two) years every year based on performance and requirements.
Executive – Security:
- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline recognised by Govt. of India.
- Experience: Four years or more with a minimum of 03 years experience in the Armed Forces in the rank of Captain / Major/ Lieutenant Colonel or the rank of DSP/ SP or equivalent in Central/ State Police Organizations, with experience in different areas of overall Security System.
- Duration: The engagement period will initially be for 2 (two) years and extendable by 2 (two) years per year based on the performance and requirements.
Age Limit ( As on 01 May 2024):
- Executive
- Medical: 35 years
- Security: 40 years
Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation for OBCs will be allowed per Govt. of India guidelines. Relaxation in the upper age limit for the candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir from 01 January 1980 to 31 December 1989 will also be allowed per Govt. of India guidelines.
