Educational Qualification:
Project Associate – I:
- Essential: Master’s degree in Physical Oceanography/Ocean Technology/Remote Sensing/Data Science/equivalent from a recognized University [or] B.E/B. Tech in Electronics/Computer Science from a recognized University
- Desirable:
- Experience in data analysis and programming skills in Python/MATLAB
- Experience in image and video processing.
- Experience in setting up marine instruments such as wave gauges, ADCP, tide gauges, AWS, etc.
- Deployment and retrieval of marine instruments; post-processing of data after retrieval; beach profile measurements, etc
- Duration: 6 Months on a contractual basis
Age Limit ( As on 15 July 2024): 35 years
Salary details of NCESS Vacancy:
- Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests -CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.

- Desirable: PhD with research experience in the field of hydrogeology as evidenced through publications in peer reviewed journals
