The main objective of the NCB is to encourage cement research and scientific works in building materials industry and trade. It functioning under the authority of the ministry of commerce and Industry, India. It is also called Cement Research Institute of India (CRI).NCB main research center is located in Ballabgarh (near New Delhi) and the regional center is located in Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

- Candidates should possess BE/B-Tech in Chemical/Civil/Material Science Engineering.
- Candidates should possess Ph.D. in Chemistry.
