Education Qualification:
Hindi Translator Gr.-II:
- Degree of a recognised University with Hindi and English as elective subject.
- 2 years’ experience in translation work from English to Hindi and viceversa.
Age Limit (As on 01 February 2026): Not over 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Tribe: 05 Years
- Persons With Benchmark Disability as defined under “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”: 10 Years
- Ex-serviceman i.e. Ex-employee of India’s Defense Forces, and who has put in not less than 6 months continuous service in the Defense Forces: Upto the extent of service rendered by him in the Defense Forces.
- Existing Employees of the Board of any Major Port Authority: Upto 55 years of age

Selection Process for Mumbai Port Authority Careers:
- The selection will be made on the basis of overall performance in Examination only.
