Selection Process for Konkan Railway Job:
- The selection process will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview.

Selection Process for Konkan Railway Job:
- The recruitment process of Station Master (SM) and Assistant Loco Pilot(ALP) shall involve CBT, Computer-Based Aptitude Test/ OMR-based Aptitude Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
- Candidates qualifying for the CBT shall be called for a Computer-Based Aptitude Test/OMR-based Aptitude Test eight times the number of posts notified in the SM/ALP category.
- A merit list of candidates qualifying for the Computer-Based Aptitude Test/OMR-based Aptitude Test will be prepared by giving 70% weightage to CBT marks and 30% weightage to Aptitude test marks.
- The recruitment process for the posts of Senior Section Engineer (Civil), Senior Section Engineer (Electrical), Goods Train Manager (GTM), Commercial Supervisor, Technician-III/Mechanical, Technician-III/Electrical, and ESTM shall involve CBT followed by the Document Verification and Medical Examination.
- The recruitment process for the Pointsman and Track Maintainer posts shall involve CBT followed by Document Verification, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Medical Examination.
- Candidates qualifying the CBT will be called for document verification (DV) five times the number of vacancies notified. After that, candidates equal to three times the number of vacancies notified who qualify in CBT and DV will be called for PET.
- PET is qualifying in nature.
- The date, time, and venue for CBT and other additional activities as applicable shall decided by KRCL and intimated to the eligible candidates.
- The CBTs are tentatively scheduled for November 2024.
- The CBT is screening in nature, and the standard of questions will generally be in conformity with the educational standards and/or minimum technical qualification prescribed for the post.
- Incorrect answers in CBT will be marked negatively.
- One-third of the marks allotted for each question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Senior Section Engineer/Civil and Senior Section Engineer/Electrical:
