Detailed Eligibility – Jute Corporation JCI Careers:
Educational Qualification for Jute Corporation JCI Jobs:
Apprentice:
- Passed in Class 12th from any Institute recognized by the Board/State Board.
- Only Candidates who have passed out in the years 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 are eligible to apply for the post above.
Note: However, post graduate or Engineering graduate or diploma holder who have already undergone training or pursuing Apprenticeship Training or having job experience for one year or more after acquiring required qualifications, shall not be eligible for being engaged as an Apprentice under the Apprentice Act 1961.)
Duration:
- The total period of the training will be for 12 months commencing from the date of execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
Age Limit (As on 01 September 2024):
- Apprentice: 21 Years
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST candidates, three years for OBC(NCL) candidates
Stipend Details:
- Apprentice: Rs. 7,000/-

Selection Process of Jute Corporation JCI Careers:
- The selection/merit list shall be based on merit (i.e., the overall percentage (%) of marks secured in Class XII/12th). Candidates are advised to mention the exact percentage in the application; round-off is not allowed, i.e., a 75.60% percentage will not be considered as 76% or 75%.
- Initial screening of the candidates will be made based on the details they provide, subject to verification and checking at a later stage.
- The short-listed candidates will be called for document verification at the Corporation’s Head Office in Kolkata on the date & time as to be intimated to him/her in his/her email ID registered. Failure by the candidate to attend the document verification on the date & time at the venue
