JNARDDC Recruitment 2023 – Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre invites application forms from eligible candidates for the Scientific Assistant II/ Laboratory Assistant with 02 vacancies. Candidates who completed the B.Sc/Diploma/ITI/HSC/SSC with the required work experience can apply for this job. Eligible candidates can apply on or before 21 July 2023. About JNARDDC: Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre, Nagpur is a centre of excellence set up in 1989 to create a research and development support system for the emerging aluminium industry in India by undertaking basic and applied research in the areas of bauxite, alumina and aluminium. JNARDDC is recognized as a scientific & industrial research organization by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. It is the only institute of its kind in India pursuing the cause of R&D from bauxite to finished product under one roof.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Scientific Assistant-II:
- B.Sc. / Diploma in Engineering /Technology of three years duration or equivalent; plus three years relevant experience
Laboratory Assistant:
- SSC with ITI Trade Certificate / National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) or
- HSC (12th) Science (Physics / Chemistry / Maths should be one of the main subjects in 12th Science)
Age Limit:
- Scientific Assistant II – 30 Years
- Laboratory Assistant – 28 Years
Total Vacancies: 02 Posts
- Scientific Assistant II – 01 Post
- Laboratory Assistant – 01 Post
Salary:
- Scientific Assistant-II – Rs.29200 /-
- Laboratory Assistant – Rs.19900 /-
Selection Process:
- The selection process will consist of two rounds. Round 1 – Skill /Trade Test & Round 2 – Written test.
- Eligible candidates shall be shortlisted and called for skill test.
Scientific Assistant:
- Skill Test:
- The skill test will be 25 Marks for 10 Minutes.
- The results with marks shall be displayed on the JNARDDC website with a Remark (Qualified / Not qualified)
- Skill / Trade test is of qualifying nature and their marks shall not be added with the written exam scores.
- Candidates who qualify in the Skill / Trade Test shall appear for the written exam.
- Written Test:
- The written test will be 100 marks for 2 Hours.
- MCQ of science graduation level / equivalent
- Physics – 25 marks
- Chemistry – 25 marks
- Maths – 25 marks
- General Awareness: 25 marks
Laboratory Assistant:
- Skill Test:
- The skill test will be 25 Marks for 10 Minutes.
- The results with marks shall be displayed on the JNARDDC website with a Remark (Qualified / Not qualified)
- Skill / Trade test is of qualifying nature and their marks shall not be added with the written exam scores.
- Candidates who qualify in the Skill / Trade Test shall appear for the written exam.
- Written test: The written test will be 100 marks for 2 Hours (MCQ of syllabus up to 10th standard level)
Notes:
- There will be a negative marking of ¼ marks (0.25 marks) for each incorrect answer
- The results with total marks shall be displayed on the JNARDDC website in the order of merit.
