Detailed Eligibility – ISRO Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Technician- B:
- ITI Electronics Mechanic: SSLC/SSC/Matriculation + ITI/NTC/NAC in Electronics Mechanic / Technician Power Electronic Systems / Mechanic, Consumer Electronic Appliances / Mechanic Industrial Electronics trade from NCVT.
- ITI Carpenter: SSLC/SSC/Matriculation + ITI/NTC/NAC in the Carpenter trade from NCVT.
Draughtsman-B:
- SSLC/SSC/Matriculation + ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman Civil/Mechanical trade from NCVT
Technical Assistant:
- First Class Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical from a recognised State Board
Scientific Assistant:
- B.Sc. with Computer Science as the main subject /Mathematics as the main subject from a recognised University/ Institution.
Library Assistant – ‘A’:
- Graduate with First Class + First Class Master’s degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science or Equivalent from a recognised University/Institution.
Cook-A:
- SSLC/SSC Pass or its equivalent
- 05 years of experience in a similar capacity as a cook in a well-established hotel/ canteen
- Experience Certificates from individuals will not be accepted.
Age Limit (As on 20 July 2026):
- Technician- B/Draughtsman-B/Technical Assistant/Scientific Assistant/Library Assistant – ‘A’/Cook-A = 18 – 35 Years
Age Relaxation:
- Relaxation in the upper age limit by 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years for OBC candidates against the posts reserved for these categories.
- Ex-Servicemen (ESMs), persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs), Central Govt. servants, Meritorious Sportspersons, etc., are eligible for upper age relaxation as per Government of India Orders.

- Initially, all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) per application as Processing fee. The Processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear in the Written Test/ CBT
- Technician-B / Draughtsman-B / Cook. :
- There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred only)
- Initially, all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) per application as Processing fee. The Processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear in the Written Test/ CBT
