- A degree in IT / Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills include working with people from diverse cultures and nationalities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong database management and design understanding, including experience with platforms such as Data Bricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or equivalent.
Job Role:
- Analyze data and visualize/present it in the best possible way through charts, interactive reports, and dashboards.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines in an Azure environment & Snowflake.
- Design, build and maintain the tooling the wider Data team uses to interact with our data platform, including CI/CD pipelines for Enterprise Data lake, unit/integration/validation testing frameworks for data pipelines, and command-line tools for ad-hoc data evaluation.
- Develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, and performance metrics (KPIs)that support key business objectives.
- Identify and implement best data ingestion, transformation, and storage practices to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Optimize and tune data pipelines for improved performance, scalability, and reliability. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns.
- Monitor data pipelines and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks to ensure uninterrupted data flow. Build necessary mitigation/resiliency for identified risk, if any.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines charts, algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations, ensuring knowledge sharing.
