Detailed Eligibility of IIT Jammu Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Young Professional:
- Essential: Graduation in any field with at least 60% marks from a Govt. recognized University or Institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
- Desirable: Masters in Management Studies
- Experience: Prior experience required in
- Coordinating and managing the academic events.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Desirable Experience: 1 year of experience in organising academic events.
- Good knowledge of Computer applications (on emails, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations software etc. and OS like MS Windows) is a must
Period of Engagement: Initially for 6 Months (Extendable based on the performance and requirements)
Job Role:
- Managing Educational Events, support during the event, working closely with the event organizer, understanding the requirements and chalking out the finer details.
- Develop comprehensive logistics plans, including venue selection, transportation, accommodation, and scheduling.
- Processing financial settlements after an event as directed by the authority to all stakeholders.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, vendors, and participants.
- Anticipate and address logistical challenges before and during the event.
- Implement effective solutions to unexpected issues that may arise.
- Issue the Certificates and data Compilation of resource persons and users who participate in events.
- Dispatch Register for outgoing communication (invitation letters, acknowledgement letters, proposals, notifications, letter of recommendation, policy documents, etc).
- Timely posting of the content of an event on the institute website, CES website, and media handles along with tagging of appropriate stakeholders.
Age Limit: 30 years
Salary for IIT Jammu Job: Rs. 30,000/- to 40,000/- per month

Project Title: Design, Development, Installation and Provisioning of Remote Diagnostics and Health Monitoring System Using IoT for Hydroelectric Power Plant
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
Essential:
- M.E./M.Tech./MS(R) or equivalent degree in ECE/EE/CSE/IT and allied subjects with 65% marks. 5% marks relaxation for ST/SC/PH candidates. Students awaiting results may also apply. OR
- Candidates with B.E. /B.Tech/M.Sc. in ECE/EE/CSE/IT and allied subjects with 65% marks.
- Qualified in any of the following National eligibility tests/exams:
- GATE
- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)
- National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

IIT Jammu:
The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu was inaugurated on 6th August 2016 and welcomed the first batch of students into the campus in Paloura, Jammu. In the initial phases, IIT Jammu was established under the mentorship of IIT Delhi. In 2018, IIT Jammu shifted the primary operations to the Main Campus in Jagti, Nagrota. The state government of Jammu and Kashmir has provided land to establish a permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Technology in Jammu, which consists of 400 acres. Phase 1 A of the main campus, spread across 25 acres, is operational. Phase 1 B and 1 C are undergoing construction.
