Period of Training: One year
Age Limit (As on 13 October 2024): The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 24 years
Age Relaxation of IGCAR Careers:
- The relaxation in age to SC/ST/OBC (NCL) will be applicable as per Central Government Rules.
- Up to a maximum of five years for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and three years for OBC (NCL) candidates would be available only for posts reserved.
- 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disability (Divyangjan) with a minimum of 40% of disability (PwBD+OBC=13 years; PWBD+SC/ST=15 years).
Stipend Details:
- Rs. 8050/- (For those who have qualification of ITI with two years duration).
- Rs. 7700/- (For those who have qualification of ITI with one year duration).

Selection Process for IGCAR Recruitment:
- The candidates will be shortlisted for training based on marks obtained in their ITI course.
- In case of a tie in the percentage of ITI marks, candidates with a higher percentage obtained in 10th/8th standard will be placed higher on the merit list (8th class only in case of Welder, Carpenter, Mason/Civil Mistry, Plumber).
- In case of tie in the marks obtained in 10th/8th, the candidate born earlier shall be considered.
- The selected list for each trade will be published on IGCAR website.
- All the candidates shortlisted are required to appear for Document Verification, failing which their candidature will be deemed cancelled.
