HPPCL Recruitment 2019 – Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited(HPPCL) has released the job notification for the post of Trade Apprentices for 34 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification ITI pass can apply for this post. The selection process is based on the marks obtained in Matriculation examination (10th) and concerned ITI. HPPCL: Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) was incorporated on December 2006 under the Companies Act 1956, with the objective to plan, promote and organize the development of power generation on behalf of Government of Himachal Pradesh (GOP). The target of HPPCL is to develop 861 MW Power generating capacity by March 2020 and 1218 MW by the year 2024.

Detailed Eligibility:
- Educational Qualification: ITI pass candidates from the designated Trades
- Respective Trades: Electrician/Fitter/Welder
- Period: one year
- Only Himachal Pradesh domicile candidates are eligible to apply.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 30 years
Relaxation:
- For SC/ST: 5 years
- For OBC: 3 years
Trade Wise Vacancies:
- For Electrician: 14 posts
- For Fitter: 16 posts
- For Welder: 4 posts

The eligible candidates will be shortlisted and selected on the basis of merit list made on the basis of marks obtained in Matriculation examination (10th) and concerned ITI Course.
