The Gandhigram Institute of Rural Health..and Family Welfare Trust (GIRH&FWT) is a popular community-oriented health promotion institute found6d by Dr.T.S. Soundram in 1964. The institute has the expertise to conduct Training programmes / Research Services and Teaching. Applications are invited for the following posts in the Population Research Centre (PRC) up to 30.04.2024.at 5.00. The selected candidates will be paid monthly emoluments of Rs. 19,500 – 62,000/-. The age limit of the candidates should be 35 – 55 Years. The nature of the employment is temporary and likely to continue with the continuation of the PRC scheme. Educational Qualification:
Field Investigator:
- At least 2nd class Post graduate degree in Demography / Population Studies / Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Sociology / Social work / Psychology / Anthropology / Geography
- Some experience in the collection/analysis of data
Research Fellow-1:
- At least 2nd class post-graduate degrees in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Sociology/Public Health from a recognized Institution/University.
- Experience: Four years of experience post qualification (i.e. after post Graduation) Ph..D relaxable in deserving cases
Research Fellow-2:
- At least 2nd class postgraduate degrees in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Sociology from a recognized Institution/University.
- Experience: One year of experience post qualification (i.e. after post Graduation) Relaxable in deserving cases
Upper Age Limit (As on 20 March 2024):
- Field Investigator: 55 Years
- Research Fellow: 35 Years
Salary:
- Field Investigator: Rs. 19500-62000/-
- Research Fellow-1: Rs. 28,000/-
- Research Fellow-2: Rs. 25,000/-
