Detailed Eligibility – DRDO DMSRDE Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Post Graduate degree in relevant discipline (basic sciences) in first division with NET qualification
- Graduate degree In the professional course (B.E/B.Tech) in relevant discipline in first division with NET/GATE. or
- Postgraduate degree in professional course (ME/MTech) in relevant discipline in first division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.
- Subject/Discipline: Chemistry/Material Science/Polymer Science Chemical Engineering or Technology/Material Science & Engineering/Polymer Engineering or Technology
Age Limit (As on 08 April 2024): 28 years
Age Relaxation of DRDO DMSRDE Careers: 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates & 3 years for OBC candidates. However, the OBC candidates in the creamy layer will rot be eligible for age relaxation,
Stipend:
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- + HRA
- Contingency grant up to a maximum of 15,000/- per annum shall be paid to Research Fellows on reimbursement basis for the frst two years. The contingency grant may be increased to Rs. 20,000/- for the subsequent years. They shall also be eligible for HRA as per Government rules.
- Junior Research Fellows are not eligible for other type of benefits like DA, CCA, Bonus, Retirement benefit etc. However, they are eligible for medical facilities or self only through MI Room facility available In the campus.
