Detailed Eligibility for CIRCOT Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Project Title: ‘Development of High Production Double Roller Gin for Enhancing Viability of Cotton Ginning Industry’ funded by DST-ANRF-SERB at ICARCentral Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (CIRCOT), Mumbai
Junior Research Fellow:
- Master’s degree in Agricultural Process Engineering/ Agricultural Structures and Process Engineering/Post Harvest Engineering and Technology/Farm Machinery and Power/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree OR
- Candidates having a postgraduate degree in basic sciences with 3 years bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification OR
- B. Tech in Agricultural Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with GATE/ JRF qualified a
- Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of design, development, testing of machinery, machine design software’s, data analysis tools, statistical analysis, research paper and report writing, and field work
Duration: The engagement will be for one year, extendable for two more years (01 year at a time) or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier and subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate after periodic evaluation by Director ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai.
Age Limit (22 November 2024): 35 years for men and 40 years for women
Age Relaxation: Relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is permissible as per GOI rules
CIRCOT Vacancies: 01 Post
- Rs. 37000 + HRA (as applicable) for 1st and 2nd year &
- Rs. 42000 + HRA (as applicable) for 3rd year (Will be given after the performance review process as per rule)
