BOAT SR Recruitment 2025: BOAT (SR) invites online applications from eligible Graduate/Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology (passed within the last five years) for undergoing one year of Apprenticeship training under the NATS. BOAT SR Apprenticeship – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Graduate Apprentices (Engineering/Technology):
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) granted by a recognized/approved University/Institution in the relevant discipline, (or)
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an act of the Parliament/State Legislature in the relevant discipline, (or)
- Pass in examinations conducted by Professional bodies recognized by a State Government or Central Government as equivalent to Graduation.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (Engineering/Technology):
- A Diploma in Engineering or technology (Regular – Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline, (or)
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) granted by a recognized/approved University/Institution in relevant discipline, (or)
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such a diploma by an act of the Parliament/State Legislature as equivalent to the above.
Note: The candidates who have passed their Graduation/Diploma through regular mode, within the last five years only are eligible to apply
Duration: The maximum duration of Apprenticeship training under NATS will be for a period of one year from the Date of Joining, as per the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973
Age Limit: Age limit(s) will follow the existing Apprenticeship Rules.
Stipend:
- Graduate Apprentices (Engineering/Technology): Rs. 10,000/-
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (Engineering / Technology): Rs. 8,000/-
No of Vacancies: 05 Posts
- Graduate Apprentices (Engineering/Technology): 03 Posts
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (Engineering / Technology): 02 Posts
Selection Process of BOAT SR Recruitment:
- BOAT (SR) will shortlist the candidates who have applied in the portal (nats.education.gov.in)
- Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed essential educational qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines.
- Shortlisted candidates shall be informed through their registered email ID.
- Shortlisted candidates may have to appear for Certificate Verification at BOAT (SR), Chennai, which will be intimated soon.
