Education Qualification:
Project Title: Aptamer-based electrosensory for detection of NDMA impurity (a potential carcinogen)
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M. Pharm/M.S. (Pharm.) in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Biotechnology/ M. Tech/ M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences or allied subjects with at least 60% marks with NET/GATE or other national level qualified examination.
Project Associate-I: M. Pharm./M.S. (Pharm.) in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Biotechnology/ M. Tech./ M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences or allied subjects with at least 60% marks
Desirable:
- Prior work experience in the molecular biology domain, such as Cloning, expression & purification of proteins, is highly desirable.
- Research experience in aptamer isolation using SELEX and the development of biosensors will be preferred; the candidate is also expected to work on designing & selecting aptamers using the in-silico computational method.
- Preference will be given to NET/GATE or other candidates with national-level examination qualifications.
Duration of project: 3 years
Salary Details:
- JRF: Rs. 37,000/- + 16% HRA per month (First two years) and Rs. 42,000/- + 16% HRA per month (Third year)
- Project Associate I: Rs. 25,000/- + 16% HRA per month (First two years) and Rs. 28,000/- + 16% HRA per month (Third year)

- Essential:
- Perusing B.E/B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/ equivalent in a recognized| University/Institute.
- The candidate must have completed or is pursuing the 6th Semester of the degree course.
