Detailed Eligibility:

DevOps Engineer Trainee:

Bachelor of Engg or Technology with less than 1 year of experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong hand on any programming language done during the course of study or in first year of Job if any
Familiarity with Software development lifecycle (SDLC) stages.
Familiarity with basics of software development, code compilation and testing principles
Basics of CI CD Pipelines, Azure Devops, docker, containers
Basics of PowerShell, Azure Powershell and Bash scripting.
Basics of problem solving and analytical skills
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and be team oriented
Innovative and assertive in proposing/implementing new ideas/processes
Highly motivated and self-starting, should have proactive approach to resolving issues and working with limited supervision
Ability to quickly learn new technology and implement it effectively

Nice to have skills:

Creation of CI CD Pipelines in Azure DevOps
Basic knowledge of Version control software (GIT)
Basics of Azure or AZ-900

Major Responsibilities:

Assists in building code and automating deployments using Terraform
Creates CI CD Pipelines for deployment of containers into various Azure technologies like AKS and Appservices etc. using Terraform, Azure Powershell and Azure CLI
Assists in managing software versioning system
Assists in performing Security Scanning and certification of applications as part of the Release process.
Assists in troubleshooting of CI/CD pipelines

Job Summary: The DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for creation of infrastructure and for deployment of container based apps in Azure. Establishes and coordinates with developers to create CI CD Pipelines for deployment of containers into various Azure technologies like into AKS using Helm charts, Appservices and the associated infrastructure using Terraform, Azure PowerShell and Azure CLI. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, confidence and a team player to work along with multiple IT teams. He/she should be a self-starter and take ownership of the work being performed. Provides regular and periodic status updates and other metrics to the stakeholders and the management. Work according to the company standards, policies and procedures with high ethical compliance. Demonstrates a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving and troubleshooting issues.

Project Overview: DevSecOps is part of Bechtel’s Application Engineering team and is responsible for building and suppporting automated pipelines for build, test, scan and deploy softeares and infrastructures in various environments.
