Detailed Eligibility Criteria – IIT BHU Non-Teaching Recruitment:
Educational Qualifications:
Project Title: “Design and development of an indigenous inert gas atomization-based powder production equipment”
Project Assistant:
- Diploma/ITI/Degree in Engineering (from any branch) or Science (Physics, Chemistry).
- Minimum 55% (equivalent grade) in the preceding degrees.
- Desirable qualifications:
- Candidates having work experience in powder metallurgy/powder manufacturing.
- Knowledge of characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman, FTIR, etc.,
- Knowledge of CAD modelling, CFD and FE analysis.
- Any prior experience in machine tool development.
- The candidate with above-mentioned qualifications will be given preference
Duration: Initially for 01 years but extendable up to 03 more years or the duration of the project whichever is earlier based on the performance
Age Limit: 28 years

- M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering/Production/Manufacturing Engineering/Design/Thermal, Metallurgy/Material Science or any allied branches with First Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.
Desirable qualifications:
- Candidates having work experience in powder metallurgy/powder manufacturing.
- Knowledge of characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, Raman, FTIR, etc.,
- Knowledge of CAD modelling, CFD, multiphase modelling in OpenFOAM, FE analysis, should have a basic understanding of atomization models and coding experience.
