Educational Qualifications for IIT BHU Jobs:

Junior Technician (Group-I):

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Chemistry / Physics as one of the subjects) with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute. Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent is a must.

Junior Technician (Group-II):

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Ceramic / Materials Science with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute. OR
Three-year Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Ceramic / Materials Science (after 10+2) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University/Institute with one-year relevant experience.
Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications like MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent is a must.

Junior Technician (Group-III):

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent in Electrical / Electronics with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute. OR
Three years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Electrical / Electronics (after 10+2) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University/Institute with one-year relevant experience.
Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications like MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent is a must.

Junior Technician (Group-IV):

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent in Civil / Mining or Bachelor’s in Architecture (B.Arch.) with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute. OR
Three years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Civil / Mining (after 10+2) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University/Institute with oneyear relevant experience.
Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications like MS-Word, Excel, Power-Point or equivalent is a must.

Junior Technician (Group-V):

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute. OR
Three-year Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology (after 10+2) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University/Institute with one-year relevant experience.
Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications like MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent is a must

Junior Library Assistant:

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Info. Science with 55% marks OR
Diploma in Library & Info. Science with 55% marks with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline OR
Two years’ degree in M. Lib. & Info. Sc. (Integrated) with 55% marks.
Desirable: Hands-on experience of Computer Applications in a Library of repute.

Assistant Engineer:

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering with at least 05 years (for bachelor’s degree holders) or 08 years (for Diploma holders) of relevant post-qualification experience at Level – 6* or above.

Junior Engineer:

Essential: B.E./B.Tech. with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade (on 10- point scale) from a recognized University/Institute in Civil with minimum 02 years post qualification experience in relevant field. OR
Three-years Diploma in Engineering with 55% marks from Govt. recognized polytechnic in (Civil) with minimum 03 years post qualification experience in relevant field
