Detailed Eligibility โ IIT Gandhinagar Vacancy:
Educational Qualifications:ย
Junior Research Fellow:
- B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering from a reputable institution is required.
- Candidates should have experience in robot hardware, mechanical design, or robot dynamics simulations.
- The percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.
- Project: Development of Robotic Grasping Systems.
Project Associate I:
- B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering or allied fields from a reputable institution is required.
- Candidates should have relevant experience (either through competitions, or projects, or coursework) in any one of the four areas of robot hardware, mechanical design, robotics theory, or robot dynamics simulations.
- The percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.
- Project: Development and Implementation of Algorithms and Skills for Dual-Arm/Humanoid Robotic Systems.
Tenure:
- JRF:ย The tenure for this position will be until June 2026 with possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funds.
- Project Associate I: The tenure for this position will be 1 year with possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funds.
Salary:
- JRF: The monthly remuneration will be Rs. 25,000/- for candidates with NET/GATE qualifications, and Rs. 18,720/- for those without NET/GATE (as per GUJCOST norms)
- Project Associate I: Monthly remuneration will be Rs. 45,000/- per month.
