APSSB Recruitment 2024: Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board has announced notification for the Upper Division Clerk (UDC)/Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)/Driver posts. APSSB Careers – Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Upper Division Clerk (UDC):

  • Graduation from a recognised University. He/ She must be an Ex-serviceman, having served as a Combatant clerk for at least 15 years.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

  • Class XII pass certificate from a recognised Board/Institution.
  • He/ She must be an Ex-serviceman, having served as a Combatant, preferably a clerk, for at least 10 years.

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):

  • Class X Pass certificate from a recognised Board/Institution.
  • He/She must be an Ex-serviceman.

Driver:

  • Class X Pass certificate from a recognised Board/ Institution. He/She must be an Ex: serviceman.
  • Possession of a valid Driving License for a Light Motor Vehicle/ Heavy Motor Vehicle.
  • Experience of driving of Light Motor vehicle/ Heavy Motor vehicle

Age Limit: Between 18 to 40 years.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen as per Rules, i.e., three years after deduction of Military Service rendered from the actual age.

Salary: 

  • Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Rs.29,200 to Rs.92,300 per month
  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Rs.25,500 to Rs.81,100 per month
  • Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs.18,000 to Rs.56,900 per month
  • Driver: Rs.25,500 to Rs.81,100 per month

Selection Process:

  • The selection process will be based on the Examination.

Stage – 1 (Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions)

Upper Division Clerk (UDC)/Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):

  • Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions – 200 Marks: Duration – 2 Hours
    • The test will comprise of the following subjects:
      • General Awareness – 50 Marks
      • General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability – 50 Marks
      • Arithmetical & Numerical Ability – 50 Marks
      • Test of English Language and Comprehension – 50 Marks
      • Total: 200 Marks

Driver:



  • Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions – 200 Marks: Duration – 2 Hours
  • The test will comprise of the following subjects:
      • General Awareness – 25 Marks
      • General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability – 25 Marks
      • Arithmetical & Numerical Ability – 25 Marks
      • Test of English Language and Comprehension – 25 Marks
      • Technical Paper 100 Marks
      • Total: 200 Marks

Stage – 2 (Skill Test):

  • A Skill Test of qualifying nature will be conducted for Post Code 2124 (Lower Division Clerk) as indicated under:
  • Typing Test: Typing Speed test of 35 words per minute on computer (35 words per minute corresponds to 10500 Key
  • Depression per hour) (KDPH) on an average of 5 Key Depression for each word

Note:

  • Only the shortlisted candidates from Stage – 1 as per the prescribed ratio will be allowed to appear for
  • Stage 2 i.e. Skill Test.
  • Skill Test will be of Qualifying nature only, the marks secured will not be counted for preparation of the final Merit.
  • The candidate must Qualify in Stage-2.
  • Other details, if any, of the Skill Test will be informed in the official website.
  • The Final merit for all the posts shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured in written examination only.

Examination Fees:

  • Rs. 150/- for APST candidates
  • Rs. 200/-for General candidates
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are exempt from paying the fees.
