TNSTC Recruitment 2023 – Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Ltd invites Online applications for Apprentices/Driver cum Conductor. Posts. There are 1102 vacancies to be filled for this post. Candidates having a B.E/B.Tech/B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BCA/Diploma/10th pass qualification can apply. Interested Candidates can apply on or before the last date. TNSTC- Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation is a public transport bus operator in Tamil Nadu, India. Tamil Nadu government provide many bus services to the public in various cities, they also operate services to the neighbouring states of Andra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry. TNSTC has started an online booking facility for the user’s convenience, there are 321 depots and they offer contract and tourist services.

Graduate Apprentices:

A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) with First Class granted by a Statutory University in Mechanical Engineering /Automobile Engineering.
A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) with First Class granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in a relevant discipline.
Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.

Technician(Diploma) Apprentices:

A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in Mechanical Engineering /Automobile Engineering
A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full-time) granted by a University in a relevant discipline.
A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.

Non-Graduate Apprentices: A Degree in Arts / Science / Commerce / Humanities such as BA/B.Sc . , / B.C o m/BBA/BCA etc . , (Regular – Full-time) granted by a Statutory University / Deemed University in relevant discipline. – UGC approved

Age Limit: The age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules.

Stipend:

Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 9,000/-
Diploma Apprentices: Rs. 8,000/-
Non – Engineering Apprentices: Rs. 9,000/-

Selection Process:

The board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is interested in the task of preparing of shortlist from the online application data.
Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines.

Educational Qualification:

Driver cum Conductor.

Candidates should be passed 10th.
Able to speak, read & write the Tamil language.
Minimum 18 months experience of driving a Transportable heavy vehicle with a licence.
First aid, general duty and a valid Conductor license. (should be taken before 01 January 2023)
