Educational Qualification:
Deputy Collector:
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or another Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-1):
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or another Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- Other things being equal, candidates with National awards for physical efficiency shall be given preference.
Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes):
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or another Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- Other things being equal, preference shall be given to candidates as follows
- First – Candidates who hold both B.Com. degree and B.L. degree, together with a Diploma in Taxation Laws
- Second – Candidates who hold both B.Com. and B.L. degree
- Third – Candidates who hold either B.Com. degree or B.L. degree together with a Diploma in Taxation Laws
- Fourth – Candidates who hold either B.Com. degree or B.L. degree
Assistant Director of Rural Development:
- Candidates must possess a degree from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or another Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956
- Other things being equal, preference shall be given to candidates possessing any of the following qualifications;
- Post Graduate Degree in Rural Services of the Gandhigram Rural Institute

District Employment Officer:

- Other things being equal, preference shall be given to graduates in Economics, Education, Sociology, Statistics, and Psychology, as well as those with a post-graduate diploma in social science and experience in industrial or personnel management or labour welfare.

- Preliminary Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only and the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates who are declared qualified for admission to the Main
