• Fresh graduates/postgraduates i.e. B.Tech/BCA/BSc CS/BSc IT/M.Tech/MCA/MSc CS/Msc IT.
• Years of passing 2023 and 2024 only

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (C#/Java/Python), Logical ability/Quantitative skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Willing to work on weekends/late in the evenings to have overlap with US / UK time zones.
• You will have to move to the base location and are required to work from the office during your apprenticeship.

Responsibilities:

• Development using C#/JAVA/Python programming.
• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts.
• Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
• Understand the existing solutions, and develop/deliver features for the product.
• Testing and deploying programs and systems.
• Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
• Attention to detail.
• Create tech expertise within the department.
• Troubleshoot problems or issues and support team in enhancing the workflow/processes for the department

Apprenticeship Tenure: 11 months

About the Apprentice role: S&P Global is looking to hire young fresh technology graduates/postgraduates, only 2023 & 2024 Pass-outs for Apprenticeship for a duration for 11 months. This program will enable the candidates to learn on the job from S&P Global’s experts, which, in turn, will equip them to become more skilled in today’s job market.

About the team: The Apprentice will be part of The Enterprise Solutions Technology division, which includes workflow solutions across Lending, Reg & Compliance, Global Markets and Software business. Enterprise Solutions provides an industry-leading set of integrated tools, solutions, and data services that help our clients make efficient investment decisions, operate more efficiently, and provide transparency across their business and to their key stakeholders. We are the catalyst to bring data, software, services, and expertise together to power future markets. With more than 2200 incredibly talented technologists, ES serves over 7,500 customers across 21 market-leading businesses. We are looking to hire for various roles including Developer, Dev-Ops Engineer, Automation Test Engineer, and Application Support Engineer. These positions offer interesting technical challenges involving working on very large datasets. You will design and develop scalable, flexible, high-performance solutions using one of the following technology stacks .NET, Java, Python, Angular, and Cloud native technologies. Key competencies that will need to be developed are API Development, cloud migrations, Automation Testing, and supporting the applications in Production plus knowledge around agile / scrum methodologies.
