REC Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the posts of Manager/Officer in various disciplines. There are 125 vacancies available for the above-mentioned posts. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/CA/B.A/MBA/LLB/Diploma/MCA/M.Sc/M. Tech is eligible to apply for the job. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the job. Educational Qualification :

Engineering discipline:

General Manager/Manager/Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager/Officer:

  • Regular full-time Bachelor in Engineering/ B. Tech. or equivalent in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power Engineering/ Power System Engineering/ Mechanical or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA. Or
  • Regular full-time Masters in Engineering/ M.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power Engineering/ Power System Engineering/ Mechanical or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA.

Finance & Accounts (F&A) discipline:

Dy. General Manager/Manager/Officer: Chartered Accountancy/ Cost and Management Accountancy.

Human Resource (HR) discipline ( Assistant Manager ):  Regular fulltime two-year course MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma from recognized/reputed Institution/ University or equivalent with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations/ Human Resource Management or equivalent with first division or equivalent CGPA with 5 years post qualification executive experience.

Information Technology (IT) discipline:

Manager/Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager/Officer:

  • Regular full-time Bachelor in Engineering/ B. Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with first division or equivalent CGPA. Or
  • Post Graduate Degree viz. MCA/ M.Tech./MCS/ MSc. in IT/ Computers or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA.

Corporate Communication (CC) discipline:

General Manager/Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager/Officer:



Regular full-time two-year course MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Corporate Communication & Public Relations related specialization viz. Communication/Advertising & Communication Management/Mass communication/Journalism etc. or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA.

Company Secretariat (CS) discipline:

Chief Manager/Officer: Graduate with Associate/ Fellow Membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Law discipline:

Manager/Officer:

  • Regular full-time Degree in Law (LLB – 3 years) with first division or equivalent CGPA. Or
  • Degree in 5 years integrated course in Law from a recognized University with first division or equivalent CGPA.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) discipline ( Officer ): Regular full-time two-year course or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Social Work or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA with 3 years post qualification executive experience.

Administration & Liaison discipline ( Assistant Officer ):

  • Regular full-time Graduate or equivalent from a recognized institute/ University with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
  • Desirable: Additional qualification in Human Resources/Corporate Communications/Public Relations/Hotel Management/Public Administration etc.

Secretarial discipline ( Assistant Officer ): Regular full-time graduate or equivalent from a recognized institute / University with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA with a speed of 80 w.p.m.in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in typewriting and good knowledge of MS Office with 12 years of post qualification experience.

Rajbhasha discipline:

Officer/Assistant Officer: 

  • Regular full-time Master’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level. OR
  • Master’s degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level from a recognized Institute/ University AND
  • Degree or Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or 3- month Translation Course conducted by Central Translation Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs.

Age Limit ( As on 15 April 2023 ):

  • General Manager: 52 years
  • Manager: 42 years
  • Deputy Manager: 39 years
  • Assistant Manager: 35 years
  • Officer: 33 years
  • Dy. General Manager: 48 years
  • Chief Manager: 45 years
  • Assistant Officer: 40 years

Age Relaxation :

  • SC/ ST category: Five years
  • OBC (Non-creamy layer): Three years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Ten years
  • Ex-servicemen: Upper age limit shall be relaxed by the length of military service increased by three years in the case of ex-servicemen and commissioned officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers of Short Service Commissioned Officers.
  • Persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989: Five years.

Salary:

  • Manager: Rs 18 Lakhs per annum
  • Deputy Manager: Rs 15 Lakhs per annum
  • Assistant Manager: Rs 12 Lakhs per annum

Selection Process of REC Recruitment 2023 :

  • The selection process includes Interview.
  • Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria shall not confer any right to the applicant for being called for the interview/ selection process.
  • Detailed scrutiny of the applications shall be done to ascertain the eligibility and with a view to selecting for the purpose of the interview, only those candidates who are considered suitable in terms of the nature and quality of technical knowledge and professional expertise required for each specific post.
  • Mere issuance of a call letter for appearing in the selection process shall not imply that the candidate is eligible for the interview/post.
  • Applicants found suitable shall be called for a written test and /or interview, the venue and time for which will be intimated through the portal and the email indicated along with the application.
  • Selection shall be based on a written test and/or Interview carrying a weightage of 85% and 15% respectively in cases where both written test and interview are resorted to.
  • If the number of applications for any post is high, REC reserves the right to shortlist candidates with higher criteria than the minimum eligibility requirements mentioned above.

Application Fees:

  • Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹ 1,000/-.
  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, and internal candidates are exempted from payment of this application fee.
