Rajasthan Police has released a notification for recruiting sportspersons to the constable post in Rajasthan Police. The age limit of the candidates should be 18 – 23 years. Educational Qualification:
District police/ Intelligence:
- Senior Secondary or 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized school/ examining body.
Police Telecommunication:
- Senior Secondary in Science with Physics & Maths/Computer Science as subjects by a Board established by law or equivalent or 10+2 examination declared equivalent by the Government.

Age limit (As on 01 January 2025):
The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years & must not have attained the age of 23 years (DOP notification dated 25.6.2004 and 17-05-2018)
Age Relaxation:
- The upper age limit shall be relaxed by five years in the case of male candidates belonging to SC. ST. OBC. MBC (non-creamy), EWS, Saharia category, and women candidates belong to the Unreserved category.
- Ten years in the case of women candidates belonging to SC. ST. OBC. MBC (non-creamy). EWS. Saharia category
- 3 years in case of the candidates who are State Government employees and dependents of deceased Police officers/Police officials killed in the discharge of their duties

Rajasthan Constable Vacancy 2024 Details: 65 Posts
Selection Process of Rajasthan Police Sports Quota Recruitment 2024:
- According to the notification dated 23-05-2022 of the State Government Personnel (A-2) Department, as per the provisions of schedule-11 of the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services (Common Eligibility Test) Rules-2022 for the post of Police Constable (Senior Secondary Level) of Rajasthan Police Subordinate Services, the recruitment is to be done through Common Eligibility Test.
- Candidates who appeared in the Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level)-2022 conducted by the Rajasthan Subordinate & Ministerial Staff Selection Board will be eligible to apply online for the post of Constable (GD/PTC).
- The candidates will be selected based on marks given for their sports certificates and performance shown during the trial of the concerned sport/games.

Won medal in Individual or Team Event/Represented country in Olympic Games (Summer) World Cup/World Championship/Asian Games/Commonwealth:
- 1st Position: 70 marks

Won medal in individual or Team Event/Participated in International School Championship! - 1st Position: 25 marks
- 2nd Position: 22marks

Trial (30 Marks):
- The candidate shall be required to undergo a trial for the game/sport for which he/she is applying and will be assessed out of 30 marks.
- The trial shall be conducted with the advice and assistance of a Trial Committee.
- Comprising of at least two NIS. qualified coaches nominated by the chairman of the recruitment board and a renowned player of the game, not working in Rajasthan Police
Individual Events:
- The candidates of each sport will be required to compete against cach other in their discipline (in their respective weight category. if any). They will be awarded marks as below, based on positions obtained in the trials:
- First: 30 marks
- Second: 28 marks
- Third: 26 marks
- Two marks will be deducted for every position after the 3rd position.
Team Events:
- The selection board shall conduct the trial within the parameters or rules laid down for the conduct of the sport/games by the concerned National Sports Federation.
- The candidate shall be required to score at least 50% marks (15 Marks out of 30) in the trial, failing which he/she shall not be considered for selection.
Physical Standard Test (PST):
- After the above, suitable candidates will be subjected to PST. by the Sports Selection Board
Merit list:
- Sports/Games-wise merit lists shall be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates out of 100 marks.
- Candidates who fail to secure a minimum of 40 marks in the overall assessment out of 100 marks shall not be considered eligible for inclusion in the merit list.

- Gen/ OBC/ EWS/ MBC candidates: Rs. 600/-
- SC/ ST & all other reserved categories: Rs. 400/-
